How did it all start?

Well, it started with Nonno Krsto Peran who dreamed big and did what many wouldn’t dare. He bought a plot of land, isolated and inaccessible, with wild hares as its only inhabitants. However, what Nonno Peran saw was a perfect spot to build a family home and, even more importantly, a workshop and a slipway for boats. In years to come, Nonno would build many batana and passara boats in his workshop, with planks soaking on the beach, while Nonna Marija would welcome the first sets of guests to the Peran family home.

We had a fantastic few days at Raža. Everything is just wonderful about this place. The house is located just a few steps from the beach. We enjoyed early mornings on the beach and late dinners on the terrace. The house is the perfect place to enjoy some peace and quiet, but just a short ride to Rab town if you want some hustle and bustle. The host is very helpful and full of useful info and suggestions.

Had the most wonderful weekend at the apartment Raza! Came with a small party of running buddies for the Rab trail event – if you’re coming next year and need the accommodation, this is the place to choose! The beach is only like 20 meters from the house – have your coffee in the morning and jump in! Rooms are spacious and each has a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. There’s also a larger terrace to accommodate a larger party of people. The beds and mattresses are very comfy, everything is spotless clean! The last but not least, our host Davorka was truly wonderful, helpful and kind!

The apartment is perfectly located, only crossing the promenade separates it from the beach, and the same promenade by the sea can reach the town of Rab. Everything was very neat and clean, and for any questions or problems, the owners are always kindly available. If we head to Rab again, we will definitely go to Raža.
