We are here to continue the Peran family's long tradition of tourism and make your stay in Barbat, Rab and Croatia as pleasant as possible.

Not only was Nonno Krsto a skilled shipbuilder but he was also known as an expert fisherman. Longlines, fish traps and fishing nets could be found both in the workshop and on the slipway. They were carefully tended and maintained in order to be ready at a moment’s notice. Nonno Krsto was famous for catching cartilaginous fish, particularly rays. The fish would be taken to Nonna Marija’s kitchen to be prepared “na lešo” (boiled) with a few drops of olive oil, a pinch of parsley and two potatoes, a perfect meal after a long day at sea.

Once today becomes history, there’ll be slightly different stories to tell and what would be a better name for our apartment than Raža (Ray) to continue our stories.

Davorka is the person you will probably contact first. She responds to Emails and calls and makes sure that everything is exactly as agreed. She is also a real treasure trove of great ideas for daily activities or locations to visit.
This is not a surprise considering that she likes spending time in nature and being active. Hiking, running and swimming are her hobbies, as well as reading a good book. She often combines her hobbies with volunteering.

The best experience of the island involves sailing, and Marin is there for all your “sea” questions. If you need a mooring for a boat, want to know whether you can dock at the waterfront or have any other questions and concerns regarding the sea, feel free to ask him. Marin is also a diving instructor, so it’s no surprise that he loves everything related to the sea, undersea activities, boats… He often teaches training courses in scuba diving, and also solves all problems related to diving equipment or underwater works.

Lovro is always where you need him to be. He is always ready to lend a helping hand and tries to make everyone happy. The satisfaction of everyone around him is his best reward, so don’t be surprised if you see (or rather, hear) him playing the accordion.

And what can be said about your youngest host? Vid, like any child, is “in charge” of the playground. He’s an expert on what to do on the beach and can tell you which pebbles are best for building and which ball to use in the sea and which on the shore. He is at everyone’s disposal, especially that of our youngest guests.
